Who is listening to AAR in BOSTON? They are repeating AGAIN!
They did this when I listened on Monday...at the same time. They came back from their break and went directly into a repeat of the entire segment that JUST COMPLETED. So what is up with this? Is it only Stephanie Miller on WKOX, or is this happening with Steph Miller on other stations as well?

1. Not listening, but it's the last gasp of summer, vacation rules,
as do repeats.

2. No, you missed the point...they are repeating THIS MORNING's bits.
I'm not saying the show is a repeat. On the Boston show, as has happened at the exact same time earlier in the week, she broke for the 9:30 commercial break after a segment with Cindy Sheehan. Then, after the long break they came back and replayed the entire bit. In fact, it is like they simply re-wound the tape and started rebroadcasting the stuff that I was just listening to. It doesn't make any sense to me. Why would they do that?

5. Sorry; maybe they had no new guests?
And where was Cindy if I might ask? She's actually in a hospital at this moment, having had surgery 2 days ago. Did that come up?

6. She was in the hospital, or still in bed.
They joked about it, asking if she had her barf pan before they started talking about Bush's fake Katrina supporter. It was live...when I switched over to Stephanie's web site stream, it was back in sync again. But Boston is about 45 minutes behind. Which means Boston listeners won't get to hear the final segments of the show. It's just strange.

4. Thanks...I did.
I just don't understand what's in it for WKOX to rewind the tape and replay stuff that just ended ten minutes prior. The entire show is out of whack now, and if it is like what they did Monday, it will simply end at noon, with the last hour or so cut off because of the "rewinding."

7. Usually if a station does that
Edited on Thu Aug-24-06 09:06 AM by CrushTheDLC
it's because they're having technical problems with a satellite feed and they would rather put on a rerun than have dead air for several minutes. And with the early morning it's probably less noticeable, because while you have been awake and listening a while, others are just now tuning in, and they don't know it's a rerun. On the other hand if they tuned in and heard dead air, they would switch to another station. And might stay there. Which of course would suck if you're the programmer of the original station.
