Someone give George Bush a God damn fucking civics lesson
by John in DC - 8/18/2006 12:48:00 PM Americablog

I've had it with this idiot.

We've got the president of the fucking United States of America lecturing a US court of law that it's supposed to reach decisions NOT based on the rule of law, but on "the nature of the world we live in."

You God damn stupid fuck.

You have the nerve to claim Osama and the terrorists hate our democracy? They got nothing on you and your fellow "Republicans." Do you people even believe in freedom? Do you believe in the Bill of Rights? Do you believe in our Constitution? Do you fucking believe in anything other than your absolute power to do whatever the fuck you want like some two-bit communist dictator rather than the president of the greatest country on earth?

We live in a democracy, you incompetent ass - one that is quickly eroding because half the people of this country elected a moron to the presidency (twice) and now are so embarrassed by their vote that they refuse to stand up and demand an end to your idiotic reign of terror.

These are judges you're demeaning. American jurists. The people in charge of our laws. And you speak of them like they're nothing more than crap. You and your party have contempt for our entire system of jurisprudence, the entire system of checks and balances our democracy is based on, because you can't get your way 100% of the time. Well boo-fucking-hoo. We are a country of laws, you stupid stupid man.

The world in which we live is one in which the town drunk thinks he's the king of the fucking world.

Osama bin Laden is a danger to be sure. But the greatest threat to our democracy is from George Bush and his genuflecting Republicans.

1. Great rant
Al Qaeda does not "hate our freedom" with quite the fervor that Cheney and Bush do.

6. 'Hate our freedom' is BS
They don't hate our freedom. They just want(ed) us off their land. End of story. If we would have just minded our own biz and took care of our own problems here at home. But nooo we had to around swatting at bees nests all over. FU*&%$in axis of evil statement started it all. All planned too. Feeding the war machine (feeding frenzy!)

War is peace

They are using Orwells book as a guidebook (not a joke). I said that over 4 years ago and it really holds true today.

There really aren't enough four-letter-words in all the English language to properly discuss bastards! At least that's what I've found and it looks like we're on the same page.

Any other times where the president got away so blatantly with shitting on the constitution?

11. 5th Recommendation - off to Greatest Page!
This is so very true. Bush does need a civics lesson, he also needs a lesson in manners, public speaking, and the laws of the land.

Until then, he's just another terrorist.

18. You have my complete agreement on your take of the idiot.
What I can't believe is that more than half the country voted for this idiot. I believe the election was stolen-twice. I will wait to hear more about Robert Kennedy Jr.'s court proceedings exposing the vote being manipulated via die bold.

"because half the people of this country elected a moron to the presidency (twice)"

NO! He was NOT elected. The first time the Supreme Court appointed him, after his brother and FL Sec'y of State manipulated the election just enough
to set up the conditions for a bloodless coup d'etat.

The second time, all the shenanigans from FL were transferred to other states, including Ohio. Democratic voter suppression was the name of the game and it was effected through numerous means.

However, I will agree that all the people of this country have allowed this evil man to destroy the integrity of the democratic process. We haven't taken to the streets, as we should, to end this national nightmare.

29. Breathtaking! Another of those things that need to be said.
This stuff Just Simply Needs To Be Said. It just does. It needs to be articulated, put out there in public. Planted out there so it starts to grow. BELIEVE me, this will take root if it's only planted! Voicing this openly in one way or another, speaking it, writing it, blogging it, gossiping it, cartooning it, poking fun at it, WHATEVER - adds validation by making it into "Something." You're commenting on it, tacit, de facto recognition that it exists as a personally-held feeling, a reality, something to be acknowledged and therefore dealt with. Hearing it from somewhere or somebody else often gives the hearer or observer a tacit, de facto permission to think it and ponder it for him/herself. You acknowledge it as something actual, and it becomes that. Perception is reality. Just as the perception was once planted that John McCain had fathered a black child out of wedlock, and bush proclaiming that he's a uniter, not a divider - it's uttered, printed, repeated, imputted, which means it becomes perceived and therefore it becomes reality. That's what whoever it was (rove?) in the White House a long time ago when they were riding high talked about how "we create our own reality." They did and still try to do it by "kind of catapulting the propaganda," as bush himself would say. Say it. Repeat it. Write it. Have it written. Have it spread. It becomes real as more people hear of it. It's just snakes on a plane.

This shit has been programmed and has been repeated and propagated deliberately and intentionally for awhile now, certainly ever since the republi-CONS took over Congress in 1994, and then "took" the White House in 2000. That's why so many people out there are so brainwashed. They've been worked on, and worked over by this mental manipulation to the point where they just start believing and accepting this stuff. That's what we're up against. And they have the added benefit by now of this fabulous media echo chamber from the limbots of talk radio (except for a few, that's all there is) and an entire frickin' CABLE NETWORK to spin this shit farther, wider, and deeper. We don't have that vast an infrastructure doing that for OUR side of the perception, in our case TRUE reality. So WE have to be that echo chamber, ourselves, until OUR message becomes the one that's repeated straight into perception and reality, and starts taking over the national debate.

I really think that's what is so, and why it is so.
