2. A friend of mine is a gulf war vet (first war)...

He was in excellent health when he went there over a decade ago...now, after many many years battling serious and bizarre health problems, he weighs over 500 lbs and will die in 3-4 years without gastric bypass. He has a baby due anytime now, which is a miracle given how many of his friends had miscarriages after the war. I hate what we do to our vets, but it is so much more real when you can put a face on the suffering.
