Remember - the NEWS of the day should be LAMONT
Edited on Thu Aug-10-06 10:14 AM by blue2helix
This "New Terrorist Plot" reminds me of election 2004 and OBL appearing right before the election.. Explosives made from everyday products????? And now they brought out the fucking color alert system???

Well it sure shut everybody up about Lamont. You can forget about the mainstream news reporting about this important victory for progressives. The mainstream is now awash in the color red and the war whores are glossing on the lipstick.

5. They roll out the TERRA! TERRA! TERRA! message whenever they
need to refocus the nation's attention.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Bush is raping 12 year old kids in the barn.

Laura Bush and Condi Rice are shacked up together at The Mayflower.

Dick Cheney is shooting people in the face, just for the hell of it.

Donald Rumsfeld is sending more troops into harm's way, without a plan, without protection, and without a reason.

Just another day in The Bush Administration.

6. Why do you think everything in this world is about America?
This is a symptom of the problem which creates terrorists in the first place.

7. The Lamont Issue has huge International Implications
If Democrats can demonstrate to the world that they have a probability of taking control of Congress, then there is real hope for world sanity.

The implications affect everybody (domestic & international) and believe me, the whole world, not just Americans are hungry to find out what this Lamont victory might mean for the 2006 Congressional Elections.

8. Probably because that is the way we are conditioned to...
think by our leaders right along with a complicit U.S. media. And you're absolutely right.

9. Lamont losing this day
in the Press really won't affect him in the end. He's doing what he needs to do as a CT Senatorial Candidate: focus on the people in CT. If the Bushies continue to trot out Terra Alerts, by the time November rolls around, Americans will be even more sick of it than they are now! Just let Lamont do what he's gotta do up in CT, and let the bushies shoot themselves in the foot with their ignorance, greed and predictable scare tactics.

Quite frankly, I don't half a rat's ass about some rich politicians in Connecticut right now.

I'm off to protest.

Peace out all.

12. Good Point - but we need a Democratic Congress to do anything.
But yes, November does seem like a lifetime away, especially with the violence ratcheting up as fast as it is. Or as fast as necessary to provoke something before the 2006 elections.

13. Oh, come on
Lamont got plenty of ink. I suspect the timing is more to discredit Lamont than obscure him, to try to ghettoize the anti-war segment as lunatic fringe.
