Do you ever worry that Osama will attack us again?
90% of the herd couldn't pick him out of a line up, although they may have heard of him a few years ago when he made the headlines. But most barely register concern lately, I don't hear anyone expressing fears that Osama is going to swoop in and give us the sequel.

Republican talkbots never miss a chance to point out that we have not been attacked by Osama, or anyone else, in 5 whole happy, secure years. 3,000 died on 9-11, and about 3,000 G.I.'s have died, and of course about one hundred thousand have died in the middle east in these last 5 glorious and profitable years. But what of Osama?

The F.B.I. says he was never officially a suspect in 9-11, the C.I.A. stopped looking for him years ago. bush barely mentions him, maybe half a dozen times in the last 5 years.

Or is Osama the least of our problems now?

2. On extremely rare occasion.
Similar to worrying about getting West Nile virus from a mosquito.

Terrorists are something real that need to be dealt with, but there are issues with more import. Our environment and the lack of critical thought education in America for two.

4. I'm sure that at some future time someone will do something to us`
again. I don't know what, but with all the enemies we've made (thanks to the neocons and bush**), I think it's inevitable.

5. He really doesn't need to
do so. With this band of liars & thieves running the show, all he needs to do is send out the occasional video and they once again are chasing their tails yelling "the sky is falling".

8. Do you believe he is still making those videos?
Or are they being made for him by persons unknown? Some claim the convenient timing of the video releases lately is indicative of a dead or incapacitated Osama.

9. He may or may not be
I am sure that in any case he certainly has help doing them. As to who that might be well.... we can all come up with different ideas on that. As for timing, who knows, maybe he is very savvy as to the political winds or perhaps he is in a safe place doing what he is told by his handlers or captors. Only a very few would really know the answer to that.

6. I refuse to spend my life in a state of fear.
I may be struck by lightning as I go out my front door this morning. There may be another 9/11 type event, depending on how bad the GOP's poll numbers are in mid september. It will probably be another false flag operation unless we have cooperative terrorists.

I think we need to be concerned, but within reason. We need to be concerned about juvenile delinquency, drug addiction, violent crime, environmental degradation, a plethora of issues. I don't believe terror should be our number one priority right now. We will pay dearly for our misplaced priorities soon enough, too.

7. Come Onnn.... wrong question.
It should be.... 'Do You think Bu$hCo. will attack us again?'

It is certainly possible..... Like a previous poster alluded to the time Bush's poll numbers were low in 2004. As it comes down to the wire for the neocons, it is possible they'll manage yet another 'terrorist' attack.

Osama did not attack us the first time.

And, furthermore, when was the last time you saw a contemporaneous VIDEO of OBL? Unlike Castro, who made himself available to media during his revolution in Cuba, OBL has been quite unavailable.

than external forces.

BushCo, theocratic fascism and economic collapse are what keep me anxious most days and nights, which is not to say an external attack is out of the question.

14. Nope...not worried about that at all...
They've got plenty of American targets over there as it is...namely American troops.

If anyone says that bush kept them from attacking us again, I'm always happy to remind them of the PDB Condi discussed at the 9/11 commission. 'Bin Laden Determinted To Attack Inside The United States'. Yeah, a big one. Then there's the whole bit about using planes as missiles.

Freeptards generally choke whenever I bring that up.

15. Why should I worry? The US Government is not worried about it
The Homeland Security Department is too busy doing other things to worry about it. NSA is now spending their time and efforts trying to capture whistleblowers and spying on Americans citizens, so I am sure they are not worried about it.
Osama tapes will appear in late October then not heard from again unless they still need to have the appearance in 08 of real elections that are effected by "TERROR"

The war on Terror is pure bu$h shit.

That is what I am worried about.

22. But since the real numbers of dead Iraqi women and children
exceed 100,000, I guess there is risk from an outraged, grieving Iraqi somewhere. I know that if my child had been killed by decisions made by the evil asshole, I'd be doing my best to off him and his neocon buddies. And if there are any Iraqi fathers or mothers out there who wish to try for that reason.... have at 'em.
