I was on the phone waiting to get on Ed Schultz about the filibuster when she messaged me she was waiting to get on Randi. Is that cool or what?

So I couldn't listen.

25. Screener just came back on to tell me they aren't taking my call, but

didn't hang up on me, so I am wondering if it was some weird confusion - I am staying on hold.

And now I am overhearing some bizarre call from someone who wants the screener to call her Senator for her to oppose the Alito nomination, she doesn't know the toll free phone number, she can't afford a toll call and she has to leave for work - she is yelling at him telling him that YOU PEOPLE need to be more help!

And now the screener is back on with me saying hold on - we are about to take your call!

The phone lines are *all* *screwed* *up*!!

Reid's staffer said yesterday that he is trying to see if he has enough votes for a filibuster -

Joe Lieberman has JUST stated that he is "open" to a filibuster -

And if GOP threatens to go nuclear over a filibuster we can present it to the public as YET ANOTHER ILLUSTRATION of the Culture of Corruption -- SEE again - if the GOP doesn't like the rules they violate them -

Anything else I should say if I get on anytime in the next 1.5 hours? Which is a long shot, I think... :(

By the way - I wanted to comment on using the theme of Culture of Corruption to WAKE UP congress to corruption in elections - convicted felons at Diebold; Mark Crispin Miller now working to trace how Abramoff money was used to commit fraud across the nation in 2004 - and the screener told me "No - not today" - :(

Lack of msm coverage about Al's speech. Something about the historic calling out of a sitting administration by a former office holder and the lack of coverage from W's lapdog media friends.

I waited longer to put the house on the market that initially planned. Not a biggie. The kid is doing well. He had his surgery and his speech has improved immensly ~~ it's been rather amazing! Of course, he's a pretty amazing kid!

Send me a PM if you'd like to get together for lunch or something, my treat. There's nothing more entertaining than watching a mom trying to rein in her 5 year-old at a restaurant! :P j/k! He's a good boy and does really well in that particular situation.
