6. According to the article on MSNBC on the issue,
the families were parents who had "adopted" unused frozen embryos.

Which would explain why they all look like wealthy white upper class people.

4. The child in the yellow sweater who is yawning looks like a GWB clone
....Did Dimson donate some sperm to a fertility clinic? Is that why the room is filled with parents and kids? That looks so surreal, like a chapter out of "Boys From Brazil".

7. so those lifer parents are using their kids as a prop: what about when
one of those kids comes down with MS or one of the many other diseases which stem cell research would help find a cure for?

14. You know what bothers me most about that group?
How many miscarriages did those women have before they were able to carry their adopted embryo to term? The miscarriage rate on that is very high, and I'm sure that at least one of them had several miscarriages. Can't they see that it's the same thing, then?

Here's my take, as a pro-choice Christian: stem cell stuff like donating bodies and organs to science. If I get in a car accident and am brain dead, my whole family knows that I want to donate as many organs as possible to help other people. If I had embryos frozen somewhere, and I knew that I would never use them, why couldn't I donate them to help other people, just like I could my live kids' organs should they die? Isn't it the same thing?
