I just watched Rep. Ryan's speech on the floor of the House and he did a fabulous job. He talked about how corrupt the Republican run America has become and laid out an immediate agenda if the Democrats should take control in January.

I wanted to issue Congressman Ryan a round of applause and the only way I know to do that is through you guys. At the end of his speech, he gave a web address for the site that lays out the Democratic New Deal. http://www.democraticleader.house.gov/30Something I was hoping the sound of 10,000 web hits could make the sound of a round of applause.

7. I think the Congressional Progressive Caucus is the one that needs support

Pelosi is toting the "30-something Caucus" like it is a miraculous gem or something, while the CPC has been fighting hard and with the working class, peace, environment agenda for quite a while. They need Pelosi's stamp of approval more than the 30-somethings, although they aren't bad.

I just wanted to acknowledge Mr. Ryan and let him know I heard his message and that he did a fine job. Even though the House was empty, I wanted him to hear clapping.

It doesn't have an appeal as a working group. But I saw them give a rubber stamp presentation and found them hilarious and giving great criticism of the Republicans; I'm not against them just thinking they could do something better.
