The inability of Democrats to convey the truth about something as obvious as the "deficit cutting" bragging by the President yesterday is discouraging, to say the least. Without the truth, the people are lost. Our nation is lost.

We are told that "deficits" don't matter because they are only 2.3% of the GDP. Of course, if social programs were 2.3% of the GDP, such as Social Security, then it is a serious problem?? How do we break thru this wall of deceit?

The most discouraging thing is the people that continue to believe the lies. There is no limit to the gullibility of the American people. If you are a Democrat, then the Democrats have the truth. If you are a Republican, then the Republicans have the truth. And never shall the twain meet.

I fear for our country because of the lies and deceit that are accepted by our people. There is no good to come from lies or the acceptance of lies. There is a price to pay and we have not been handed the bill as of yet. But, it will be a dark day when the truth is given the American people. We are living in a nation of lies.
