1. There is concern in the UK that the admixture of hormones in milk
(30% of sales in the US) could be introduced here in the UK, and that it could lead to such things as premature maturation of young girls and genital deformities in male babies.

2. there should be concern.
the thing is, we feed cattle all these hormones and crap, and there's plenty of evidence that we don't need it. i know a rancher in new mexico that regularly rows steers to 950# - 1100#s, which is huge. he uses nothing artificial, they're range fed with some hay and grain supplement in the winter if natural grazing is hard to get. the way we're treating animals in the factoryfarming system we have now is gonna come back and bite us in the ass one of the days, more than it's doing now.
