Donna Brazile called herself a "Lieberman Democrat"
on Georgie's show. Is she supposed to be the leftie in the group?

4. They BOTH need replaced!
I've said it many times in the past! Donna is more of a problem than an asset for the Dems!

I THOUGHT that just last week, she said she supported Joe in the Primary, but would support the winner, no matter who it was. That is the only positive thing she's said in a very long time.

Joe is the same. ONCE IN A WHILE he says or does something right, but it's very rare!

Both of them should retire and just go home.

5. They make sure there is NEVER a "leftie" in the group.
That is the entire problem, we have buffoons misrepresenting our positions to the public. Donna is a "Status Quo Democrat" she has made a very good living off of it, as have a lot of other folks who have no interest in seeing their gravy train go away. They are practicing enlightened self interest at the expense of our interests!

in Connecticut and will run as an independent AGAINST the Democrat. How the hell does that make him a Democrat?

and therefore indistinguishable. Lieberman is just plain WEAK. Its startling to think he ran on the ticket with Gore, who has so much strength of conviction.

44. Even if Joe "Me Me Me" Lieberman runs as an independent
I highly doubt the Schlesinger (R) would win. I know Republicans are rooting for Joe to run and split the vote, but Schlesinger polls about 20% in every poll I have seen, even three way polls. He has to get closer to get at least 33% to be a threat, and I think Republicans will be torn between Schlesinger and Joe. Also, keep in mind that Republicans are the minority in CT.

She's listening to the people who cut her pay checks, not the people who are on the ground working for the Democratic Party. She cares more about her own financial security and personal/professional relationships than she does about what you or I think. She's the mainstream Susan Estrich, always willing to bash a Dem to get invited back.

I really would have thought seeing her disabled sister go missing in NOLA during Katrina and all the horror of that situation would have opened her eyes. I empathized strongly with her then.

But, no... She's as much a "bought and paid for" lackey as any DINO. Even Hillary has had to take a single (and insufficient) baby step away from Lieberman and the whole DLC position on everything...

The NETROOTS and all progressive Democrats need to give Brazile and all these "determined- to- lose" DINOS the heave ho.

29. A better name for her and her ilk: A Diebold Democrat.
She was pivotal in the Democratic Party's SILENCE, as Bushite electronic voting corporations took over our election system, during the 2002-2004 period, with TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY programming code and virtually no audit/recount controls.

Diebold/ES&S didn't just (s)elect Bush, you know. They (s)elected all of the House and more than a third of the Senate. They (s)elected the uber-corporatists and warmongers in our primaries, as well as fascist Bushites to dominate Congress. All facilitated by Donna Brazile and Terry McAulife and Democrats like them. They have their nests feathered, I suppose, and to hell with the rest of us.

Connecticut seems to be a hotbed of Diebold Democrats. They've got Lieberman, and also Bilderberg 'Democrat' Christopher Dodd, who abetted Tom Delay and Bob Ney in engineering the "Help America Vote For Bush Act" (aka, HAVA, the $4 billion electronic voting boondoggle that corrupted and destroyed our election system). If we continue to have elections in this country--and his term comes round again--Connecticut voters need to be apprised of Dodd's complicity with the Bush fascists on NON-TRANSPARENT electronic voting. There really is nothing that has been done in the last six years that has been more damaging to our democracy. HAVA has come close to killing it, in fact. And it is even worse than the war on Iraq because it prevents any corrective change of course. Treason is not too strong a word to use, for those who have had a hand in HAVA.

“The President Bush spoke to the nation from my city. I am not a Republican. I did not vote for George W. Bush — in fact, I worked pretty hard against him in 2000 and 2004. But on Thursday night, after watching him speak from the heart, I could not have been prouder of the president and the plan he outlined to empower those who lost everything and to rebuild the Gulf Coast.”
