The power of empowerment - DU can do it

The Gore speech obviously is drawing a line in the sand. It is also a very strong call to action.

DU's response shows what it does to people : people feel now is the time to ACT.

Consider then, that DU now is mainstream in a lot of ways. You The People have had enough and have said so in polls. This means a lot of people all over the US will react the same way.

So THE action regarding the Gore speech is to disseminate it far and wide. Let the healing and empowering words be heard by the many, many who agree.

Get it to those who don't have internet or C-Span.
Get it to democrats
Get it to anyone who is not in the top X %.
Get it to anyone with draft-age kids
get it to anyone with ethics and morality
Get it to republicans, without attaching Gore's name to it perhaps.

Let the american people know there is HOPE left.

The first thing to do when the truth hits home as it did through this speech, is to make sure it gains momentum. The media cannot and should not be trusted with this all-important task.

So the momentum needs to be built from one person to the next. One at a time.

Never underestimate the power of empowerment.
