Are there any other Democrats that can speak with the passion of Al Gore?
Dr. Dean? Russ Feingold? Hillary? John Kerry?

They are all very good speakers but none of them speak with the passion of Al Gore, in my humble opinion.

2. He was preaching to us today with true passion and conviction
and honesty. Dr. King would be proud of him. :)

4. Yes, there are and they also don't get media coverage.
Wes Clark
Russ Feingold

I'm glad Al's gotten DU fired up today, but that speech tells me - by its sheer veracity - that he's NOT running in 2008.

5. Stay tuned on Wednesday
Gore's brilliant speech was just the warm up. Dean is on the ball.

6. Howard Dean can do it.
But Gore's eloquence and erudition matched his passion, which is what made this a speech for the ages. Dean may be capable of that level of oratory magnificence, but he hasn't demonstrated it yet. And I'm speaking as a passionately devoted Deaniac.
