Watched very good, but extremely sad, film on BBC2 late last night with the above title. Already shown in the USA on PBS under the different name of Two days in October
http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/documentaries/storyville/vietnam.shtmlhttp://www.pbs.org/wgbh/amex/twodays/filmmore/index.htmlThe film has excellent newsreel footage of both Vietnam, Vets, and the student protests in Madison WI . See :
http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/turningpoints/search.asp?id=1048Tonight, for anyone in the UK, BBC2 are showing Sir, No Sir ! - The GI Revolt at 11.20pm.
"The story of how active-duty American GIs, in their thousands, created a massive, unprecedented movement against the war in Vietnam that could not be stopped."
As this is described as the second of a series of similar films in the Storyville season I guess others will follow either on BB2 , BBC4 or naybe both on differnt nights. So - keep an eye open.
