Recent Coulter article is a hoot and a holler

One of our phone center people is a freeper, and he likes to bring these NewsMax articles he printed out to work with him and hang them up at his desk. They're always good for cheap laughs.

This particular screed by Ann the Man was on Samuel Alito, and it contained a comment about the Democrats wanting to ensure every woman's sacred right to have sex with men they don't want to have children with. Or something like that. Anyway, you get the point. I'm not giving Coulter, NewsMax or Jewish World Review a hit to go look the quote up.

Now consider the humorous irony in this statement: Ann Coulter is reputed to enjoy relations with multiple partners and she's childless.

So let me see...you've got a slut who will screw anything that moves, but who of course doesn't want to get pregnant, excoriating women for wanting to have sex with men but not bear their children. (Ignoring the minor sticking point that no one except maybe Ann Coulter uses abortion as their primary birth control method anyway.)

Yup. Gotta love that irony.

Her arguments fall apart all the time because of logic like this.

But, even if this were pointed out to her, she would only attack the questioner.

12. I hate Ann Coulter, but...

She's a nutjob and a kook. She's not even very smart. Her writing stinks, it's like high school level (not that mine is great but nobody pays me to write. For a professional writer, her writing is clumsy and her ideas are laughable).

But anyway, I hate it when people attack her solely on her looks... it's her ideas that are repulsive. Plus, even if she was transgendered or whatever, there's nothing wrong with that... that's not something that liberals should be deriding.

And also, it really dumbs down the whole discussion. Remember how people used to bust jokes about Janet Reno, and her appearance? Remember how irrelevant it was, and petty and mean?

I just don't know if we (meaning everybody) should be going down that road, of making appearances so important. We certainly don't do it for males, at least not to the same degree. Now I would agree, that if Ann Coulter looked like a troll, almost nobody on the Right would listen to her for a split second. I guess in that way, it's fun to make cracks about her appearance, especially since the Far Right is totally uncomfortable about gender issues and homosexuality.

I just think we should be ripping her dumb ideas apart though, and not her adam's apple.
