McCain declares its okay for us to pay higher gas prices to invade Iran
On Tweetie's Sunday show, he says if that is the sacrifice required if we're to keep the United States safe from Iran. Anyone here feeling threatened more by Iran or $3 gas and $2.50 heating oil? It is so reassuring of the multi-millionaires to tell us how the sacrifice they won't have to bear will be WORTH IT for the rest of us groundlings.

Watch out for this extremist asshole, parading as a "moderate." He WILL be the media's nominee for 2008, and he WILL be framed as being the moderate that even the democrats could get behind. I'd bet money on it. The media is starting the sales job on McCain, figuring our suffering will be "worth it," I guess.

1. My DH, who has always liked McCain, saw him on 'Face
The Nation' yesterday. DH's mouth was hanging open as he listened, unable to believe what McCain was spewing. I'm not proud of it, but I did tell him, "I told you so."
McCain is dangerous, period. I hope more people wake up to that fact.

2. The money's not going toward fighting Iran.
Do sheeple really need to be reminded of the oil companies' record profits last year?

3. sell me a gun cowboy... nah - make that a drone you coward.

Shah Zaman, who lost his three children, walks on the rubble of his house, destroyed by in an apparent pre-dawn air strike, Friday, Jan. 13, 2006 in Damadola, about 200 kilometers (125 miles) northwest of Islamabad, Pakistan. An air strike in a remote Pakistani tribal area killed at least 17 people, and a senior Pakistani official said Saturday the target was a suspected al-Qaida hideout that may have been frequented by high-level operatives, possibly the No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri. Put some dirty boots - some hard working MEN on the ground if you want to catch the evildoers

Bombing with drones is the most COWARDLY ACT of war.

Pathetic.

13. LOL! I think I was delerious when I posted that!
I just noticed that. The arctic blast just hit here in New England, and I cringe every time I hear the furnace turn on. I think my last delivery as 2.89, come to think of it! :)

7. Is it effective?
Who gives a damn whether it is cowardly or not. Is it effective?

In this case apparently not.

9. Who cares if it's cowardly?
All those pricks that harbour 'raghead philosophy' in the US - the one's who scream that men, women and children who strap bombs to their chests are 'terrorists'.

That's who.

Put some boots on the ground and get the bad guys. Drones are for cowards. Talking points against your fascist leaders. Think about it.

8. Higher gas price are the least of my worries
War breaks out and we may see nukes used. Israel gets involved and the whole region can become a religous war blood bathm. Then the return of the draft for a "justified war" and Destuction like we have not seen since WWII. Oh, let there be no doubt we would win. But if you think we'll come out of it with only 2250 casualties your quite mistaken?

11. Let him try & see where it gets him!
High gas prices are one thing that pisses nearly everyone off! That'll do wonders for his image/approval ratings.

12. They could only pull it off if they have another "Attack on America" --
Then their poll numbers would go up. SUV drivers could feel super patriotic for their sactifice. McMansion owners could be issued yard signs with every heating oil delivery -- my thermostat's on 75 this January to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! Hybrid drivers would be arrested for treason, not using all the gas they can is providing aid and comfort to the enemy. You can see where this is going. Maybe we could bring back War Bond drives!
