Any bets that the Washington Post or some other BushCo media accomplice will publish a "snap" poll of Americans that will show a majority FAVOR the government's most recently revealed financial spying program?
It works like this. After it was revealed that the NSA had been monitoring all Americans phone calls, BushCo commanded the Washington Post to do a snap poll that would show that Americans love to be spied on without any judicial review. The Post indicated that it would be as easy as falling off a log. They designed a poll that asked respondents if they favor being spied on without warrants or having their Grandma's brains splattered all over her porch in Possum Trot, KY by Al Queda. Surprisingly, they only got 52% of people to respond that they favored being spied on more than having Grandma whacked by swarthy Arabs. The WaPo then told Americans that they LOVE to be spied on because their rigged polling showed that result. All of the other media piglets trying to get a teat on the bloated body of BushCo knew to play along. Within a day, the media ably moved the message beyond what American's think about the NSA program to why Democrats are so confused and in league with Al Queda for questioning "Dear Leader".
The revelation that financial transactions are being monitored will start out exactly the same as the NSA warrantless wiretapping story. First, Americans will be told that it involves overseas transactions and then a week or so later it will be revealed that ALL financial transactions of Americans are being monitored. During the week long period between revelations, the media will once again move the story beyond what Americans think about the spying by publishing another ridiculously rigged poll. Americans will be told every day on the hour that they LOVE to have their bank records spied on without warrant. It is all so simple! Throw in a few morons willing to say they will blow up the Sears Tower with nothing more than a bic lighter and farts saved in a jar and you have a perfect BushCo storm.
I am still trying to figure out what songs to use for the soundtrack of the dismantling of American freedom.
