The only registered Republican in my household
just finished knocking on 100 doors in our precinct while volunteering for our Democratic Assembly District Candidate.

I'm a proud Democrat married to a smart, compassionate Republican.

There is hope.

:-)

2. lol!
That's so funny.

No, thank goodness, it never came to that. There were no bribes or punishments necessary. It was strictly a matter of common sense and making good choices.

6. I have more than my fair share, to be honest.
Thank the Gods that be, however, that most are not, nor have never been, supportive of Bush & Co.

Nevertheless, it has been an interesting 6 years.

7. So far, over the last 6 months
I've met at least 4 "recovering Republicans"

I welcome them with open arms, and surprisingly, the ones I've met are very actively involved in turning things around.
