3. Actually - Reagan did cut and run. He was worried people would find out

that he had been warned about the danger our troops were in because of the lack of protection they had in the location they were in. Tip O'Neil warned him about it, but Reagan refused to listen and stuck by the decision, resulting in the massive killings of our troops.

He then started Grenada invasion to distract the media and the public from what actually happened in Lebanon. A real Wag the Dog.
