"Where's the outrage when our soldiers are abused?"
That seems to be the new talking point by the RNC regarding the deaths of these two.

It's not that hard to figure out:
We are respponsible for our government in a democracy. We elect our leaders. We don't elect theirs.

Asking Murtha to speak out on this subject the same way he has on Haditha is the height of stupidity.

1. We aren't suppose to be there - it is not our country - they want
us the fuck out. I think Murtha made that very clear.

3. More bullshit from the knuckledraggers
Every friggin' time some issue comes up, they try to capture exclusive rights by whining, "Where's the media coverage?" "Where's the outrage?"

It really fires up the drooling idiots.

4. I got that question from
a message board I go to now and then..this was my reply

There is outrage, but it probably rings hollow to many..how outraged can you be when we act like them? We torture and its ok ...we are more upset at the people who report on a troop of soldiers who snapped than at loss of innocent Iraqi family they killed when they snapped....or the reason they snapped

I am outraged. I am sick. Those 2 soldiers remind me of my own son and they should have never been put in the position that has cost them there lives. I am outraged that we have lost the moral high ground because GW believes in torture. I am outraged that there they probably suffered so much more because of our torture policy..... I am outraged at all the death and blood that really has no benefit to us. Well at least not the bottom 95% of us.

There is outrage at how the family of one or both of these men will be slimed if they turn out to not be gun ho for this war or GW. and we know its coming. We are outraged because we know that family can never speak up about politics or Ann Will claim they enjoy the death of there children.......there is so much outrage a we barley know how to express it ..there is more outrage than we know what to do with.

5. It should be obvious that the right is taking advantage of these deaths
to make political points. That should be our message.

7. Seems that there is plenty of outrage, it's the only time in months
when they have even reported any of the deaths.

8. Speaking for myself, the outrage is right here
I don't see why being outraged at the administration's lies and aggression should keep me from being outraged at the excesses of the muj's.

9. I am outraged.
But not surprised. After all, the US has leaders that egg them on with their
chest-thumping Roveisms. I expect it to get much worse after Dickwad Cheney
reiterated his incredibly ignorant "last throes" comment the other day.

10. we set the bar with gitmo- abu garib- Haditha, and the lies about
Jessica Lynch-

Its cruel, it isn't fair, and I hate it, but, what comes around goes around.

Too bad it doesn't 'go' only to those who sent it in the first place.
