flying from New Foundland to Wales in about 21 hours.

too (DOB: July 24, 1897, Atchison, Kansas).

4. Amelia Earhart was the daughter of Edwin Earhart and Amy Otis.
Edwin Earhart was brother to Theresa Earhart who married Samuel Gettamy. Samuel and Theresa Gettamy were my Great-grandparents.

So, does that make her my fourth cousin, or my first cousin removed three times? :D

Whatever way you look at it, no one in the family has heard from her for seventy-eight years.

5. Talk about exponential advancement...
I really think there is something to this "technology is advancing faster than our culture" mime....

I suspect it's because greed has become the proverbial wet blanket of cultural and civil advancement.
