Carlin moved over to the couch and said, "I never thought I'd move to the right for Ann Coulter, " as he patted her arm. She pontificated while flipping her hair back and forth, Leno said nothing of interest, and Carlin never said another word.

It was a total nonevent.

My conclusion is that no one can claim that she is being controversial to sell books, and doesn't believe half of what she says, or it is for entertainment purposes only. She is one cold, humorless bitch.

5. Saw it. It was a non-event.

I don't normally watch Leno, but thought (hoped?) for some fireworks. Pffft!!

It was interesting that Leno made a comment just before the break when she was to come on. He said he'd gotten LOTS of emails and calls about his having her on...not positive ones from what I gathered. He said his attitude is to listen then make up your own mind. Hah!

As I posted elsewhere, the biggest thing I took away from it is that if you REALLY want to piss off Ann Coulter it's very easy! Just ignore her. She said "Liberals haven't said a word that I'm calling them Godless!" She was pissed because what she thought the biggest insult she could hurl has been ignored.

So, the answer to making Coultergeist go away is to pretend she doesn't exist!

Leno had also mentioned the anti-Coulter emails the previous evening too. He must have received quite a few.

I normally don't watch him either..maybe catch a few minutes once in a while. Does anyone know if they normally have people filing in the be seated at the beginning of the show? The area seemed to be the side he pointed out while saying he had a right wing section tonight.

While waiting to see Ava's interview last night, I heard Scarborough say the same thing. It must be the new excuse for Coulter. I certainly don't remember MM saying what they said...it's being claimed he did on his website. I don't remember seeing it there either.

Her reply of "Boo freakin hoo" to the mention of the Gitmo suicides was her feeble attempt at making a Coulter. I would love for someone to confront either one of them in public and push their buttons. Call Malkin a monkey who needs to go climb a coconut tree. I mean say something really hateful to her and when her jaw drops, yell boo freakin hoo over and over again until she escapes in tears. I find that extremely satisfying to think about. Are there any dems or libs who could be that horrible? There has to be someone out there.
