We care dammit, that's a major handicap. Remember the fun they had when Bill said "I feel your pain."
2500 dead soldiers doesn't seem to bother them too much.

3. I Wish I Could Care About The Rest Of The World. The Way I See It,
THEY have it better than WE do, already, because THEY don't have a fucking fascist running THEIR countries!

8. Well, some countries ARE fascist.
There are far more repressive countries in the rest of the world than America. And we can still vote this proto-fascist we have now out of office.

4. Yep, I feel sorry for the world
What the US does affects so many others. And with this regime a positive result is purely unintentional.

6. If there was such a thing as a good god he would have been
doing to us what he claims to have done to sodom and Gomorrah.

5. No. But I feel sorry for my baby.
I pray that she or her future children do not have to know suffering in their lives as a result of the actions (or inactions) of people in present times.

I don't feel sorry for our side. We really don't have it that bad. Except for the poorest among us, our generations - for the most part - enjoy a life of convenience and abundance that previous generations could only have dreamed of. And my concern is that we may fuck up the earth and our standing in the world so badly that our current lifestyles will be only a dream for future generations of Americans as well.

11. I feel sorry for the people on our side, not the politicians though.
Hey, they got their's and that's all that seems important to them.

12. Sadly, I believe, our soldiers deaths will have to reach over the 3000
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 04:23 AM by LaPera
mark killed, as on 9-11 for many to realize its just not worth it(not that there is any connection what so ever)...Each individual death has a family, a face, that Bush cares nothing about...Unfortunately, it will continue for for many more years after that, because the US military is NEVER leaving Iraq (they only care about protecting corporate interest, via our tax dollars).

Iraqi's know BushCo wants to steal & control their oil fields, as long as there is a drop of oil left in Iraq.

The huge (largest in the world) fortress type embassy Halliburton is building, the 14 giant bases, the massive air-strips, the at least 50k plus soldiers who will be permanently based in Iraq (as announced to "control things" and to place planned attacks on oil rich Iran and to control others in the region), along with the massive coming of US embassy personal...Thus the US will have a huge presence in Iraq, they will NEVER leave.

The Iraqi's know we are NEVER going to leave until the oil companies steal all their oil...

If you were an Iraqi under obvious US puppet control what would you do?
