The human brain
First off, I know that science will go "forward" in studying the brain no matter what anyone says.

But is the knowledge of how the brain works worth it? Medically, it could solve many problems(as long as there isn't a profit to be made). However, do the positives outweigh the negatives?

3. Joking or serious?
Subtle commentary on not being able to think?

You can't think of a single way where the knowledge of the fundamental workings of the human brain couldn't be abused by either of the two entities, governments and corporations, which dominate our lives?

5. whoa!
Not joking, and not feeling powerless about government and corporations.

Sorry, anything can be abused by anyone who sets out to do so. What would be stupid is if we said "no more research allowed" and enforced it because we were afraid the gummint or corporations might abuse it.

Please don't play subtle zingers with people - it's not an acceptable form of conversation.

2. Is this about Ben Roethlisberger?
Because I am pretty concerned about his brain right now.

4. The study of the human brain is directly linked to the study of ....
...everything.
The observer is a human with a bi-cameral brain and the observed is everything that exists including the observer.
No two human brains are exactly alike in their abilities.
It does one well to understand what kind of perception and processing abilities ones brain has.
