I would not be surprised if Rove didn't step down in a few months.
That could have been part of the deal made with the WH. When the dust settles, Rove will step down for health or family reasons, ride off into the sunset with a lobbyig job and make millions.

no one touches them, someone else is taking the fall for this crap

maybe the democrats will fight for a change, or perhaps their wonderful advisors are telling them, don't talk agai nst the Iraq war, until after the 2006 elections...

Bushco and Rove won this one, apparently Fitz didn't have enough on Rove to indict him. And I seriously doubt that Bush's Brain will step down anytime soon. Now that he has been cleared on the Plame matter, Rove has a serious job to do, and that is to steal the mid term elections for the 'Pugs without riling the public.

The only name of note that is going to take the fall for this one is Libby. The rest of this misadministration is going to skate, leaving Scooter to twist in the wind.

The sooner we accept reality, the sooner we can move on to other more pressing things, like figuring out how to prevent Rove from stealing the elections this fall.
