Red State Road Map
I've looked for duplicates , and couldn't find any. I did a search, but it comes back with a blank screen, so I hope this hasn't been posted.

I believe this is from truthout , it is a dvd for sale , but they have a trailer, which is at once hilarious, and very, very, sad. It's a must watch.

http://redstateroadtrip.com./

For those who can't watch videos online, the film makers went through the "heartland" and interviewed Bush supporters. It is much worse than you would expect and this is just the trailer!

5. Bah!
I watched it and I'll be damned if it doesn't sound like my the people who live in this town. Gosh, it's sickening that people could be so uninformed but yet talk like they know everything.

and the dumbasses.

6. I know, that's what I think
The small percentage of the very wealthy wouldn't be able to sustain a party by themselves so they have learned how to manipulate the ignorant "My husband told me to" folks. That's why we have this strange contradiction of un-Jesus like behavior and the invocation of "Christianity".

15. Depressing and hopeful at the same time.
What's really frustrating is scenes like this; "Do you like George Bush's policies"? "Nope". "Did you vote for him"? "Yup".

8. Red-Staters have no idea what a Christian is.
Bush exhibits no actions that are even remotely Christian.

16. I meant that based on the comments in the trailer.
Let me rephrase:

Bush-Asslicking Red-Staters have no idea what a Christian is.

9. Anyone Remember Michael Moore's Southern Tour?
It was from his TV series where he rented a semi and drove with all sorts of Democratic messages on it around the South and was all but assaulted.

I'll have to check this out later...looks very interesting.

18. Slightly OT: Lewis Black's new TV show...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_State_Diaries

Red State Diaries is a TV show starring comedian Lewis Black, being developed for Comedy Central to begin airing in 2006. Comedy Central says it will feature Black on the road exploring the red states for explanations of the subjects of his comedic rants, as featured for a long time on The Daily Show. This will be the second spin-off from The Daily Show, after The Colbert Report.

I. Cannot. WAIT!:bounce:

22. Hilarious
I liked the waitress: "Unemployment is around 18% here. I voted for George Bush. He's a good Christian man. We need health care. We NEED health care."

It's amazing how much they contradict themselves.

Was this video put together by truthout.com? It definately puts the right wingers in a bad light.
