Your Right to Know What's in Your Food
Senate Poised to Pass Bill Taking Away Your Right to Know What's in Your Food
Tell your Senator to vote "No" on the "National Uniformity for Food Act"

Label ReadingThe House of Representatives has passed a controversial "national food uniformity" labeling law that would take away local government and states' power to require food safety food labels such as those required in California and other states on foods or beverages that are likely to cause cancer, birth defects, allergic reactions, or mercury poisoning. This bill would also prevent citizens in local municipalities and states from passing laws requiring that genetically engineered foods and ingredients such as Monsanto's recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH) be labeled.

1. The food pipeline has long-since been privatized.
Yer shit-outta-luck. Grow your own or patronize LOCAL growers. Anything and everthing that is "processed" is a crap shoot.

2. Done and kicked!
I watched this debate in the House, and it just made me ill. The whole reason they are doing this is for the corporate mega-food producers. Think of all the rules that they will no longer have to follow. Every one of those rules cost the stockholders money, don't ya know.

5. If this shit bill passes
I don't wanna hear ANYTHING out of the fat phobes, dogmatic believers diets, and fitness gurus who blame fat people for every problem and give them crap like they are morally depraved for having an uncooperative body that can't be thin..until they can PROVE to me food is not contaminated with chemicals and hurting people worse than it already is.

Example..
A chemical for nice yellow FAKE egg yolks
Make it look good to sell who cares if it is poisoned.
