do you think we should use video of Bush saying...
to a group of Republicans at a GOP fundraiser, "It's great to be with my base--The Haves and Have-mores" and then him giggling after saying that? I think it would really add alot to the campaign on values and who this president really values. I think it would make an effective ad.

Just a thought.

6. That's the truth. They thought he would be a great guy to have a
beer with. Funny thing is, he wouldn't want to have a beer with them!

9. It should have been Kerry's ONLY campaign ad.....
take him down with his own words. Notice that he didn't have his usual "folksy" speech problems when he said that.

10. They should play scenes from the movie 1984 and then play the
clip of Bush saying how this 'all would be so much easier as a dictatorship, as long as I'm the dictator!" Chuckle, sneer.

There is enough video and audio coverage to make Bush a liability to every Repuker in any state.

his stupid comments!

Osama? To be honest, I don't think about him much anymore.

13. Heck, yeah.
I don't understand why that and a bunch of other dippy things he said weren't run non-stop during the 2004 campaign.

Maybe running that "Osama? I don't know where he is. I don't even think that much about him." would have changed people's minds about how great on terrorism that criminal clown really was.

14. I don't think it would work
I think one of the smartest tricks the Repukes have come up with is to convince people to vote against their own best interests. I think one way they do this is - besides all of the lies about morality and integrity and God - is to appeal to people's desire to be the haves and have mores. It's like the lottery - you can get people to follow you if you pretend you'll let them in the club, or that they have some hope of getting into the club.

His true base is the very rich and the poor slobs who wish they were the über rich - what my wife calls "$40,000 millionaires." The folks who want to be rich, and will pretend to be rich even if it drives them into debt. In other words, that special combination of vain and gullible that is a perfect match for Rove's plans.

It makes sense - look at Freeperville, Fox news, Drudge, etc. - it's without substance, but fools a lot of people.

So when people see that video, they delude themselves that he's talking to them, and maybe can't decide if they are Haves or Have Mores.....
