House Republicans blocked a vote Tuesday on restoring millions of dollars in counterterror funds to big-city targets, refusing to bust budget targets over slashed grants to emergency first responders.

WTF? Why do these people think it is okay to slash NY's money by 40%? Uh, duh, that's where 9/11 happened! I understand that DC has its funding slashed as well, but if these assholes want to cut their own safety, that's fine with me. I feel sorry for any visitors at the monuments or other buildings, but fuck these (CONGRESS!) people!
