Sen. Arlen Specter is not looking very well

I just watched Specter speaking on the Senate floor today. (He was speaking against the proposed marriage "protection" amendment.) He's been fighting cancer recently, but it doesn't look like it's been going well; he had almost no energy, and he was very shaky in his delivery.

3. He hasn't been well

for some time; he's battling Hodgkin's lymphoma.

5. Yes he is.

Perhaps the last republican in congress with a working brain. He's the kind of guy who will take a stand against his party if he feels it's right, unlike McCain who goes back and forth on every issue in the hope that everyone will forget. I hope Spector is okay. :)
