When is the election in CA between Busby and Bilbray ??
All of a sudden, it has taken on added importance - by both parties? Why? Is this the seat that Cunningham had before? Why is everyone so shaken by a "misstatement" by Busby? Sounds like they are grasping at straws to me? If she can't defend herself from this....?

3. It's an important race because by all rights, a Dem shouldn't win
Busby made a (imo) small misstatement that the Repubs *hope* will turn the race. I doubt it will have that much of an effect though.

4. In 2004 Busby lost to Cunningham by over 20% in this very red district
Win or lose, the fact that this race is so close is a good sign for dems in Nov.

5. Tomorrow is special election in the district to fill vacant seat,
for the rest of the term. The seat will be up for election again in November (new term).
