I like this cartoon. The gay marriage thing is obviously a ploy on the part of Jackass and his cronies to distract people from the real issues. It may actually not work this time.

14. My only complaint: why can't Ted Rall draw a Bush caricature?

I'm sorry, but when he draws the character that's supposed to be Bush, I have to look several times.

I've never had that problem with any other cartoonist's Bush caricature, not even the ones that draw the ears that make Bush look like a Japanese anime rendition of an elf, with pointy ears sticking out to the sides of his head.

But Rall draws Bush with no lips and no chin, a permanent stubble, and wearing an officer's cap. Bush has rubbery, floppy lips, some kind of chin, and he wears "action man" military uniforms, not those of officers. I realize it's a terrible burden to actually look at a picture of Bush to draw a caricature of him, but can't Rall make that sacrifice?
