Apparently, Blitzer thinks that one of the MAIN problems during Katrina
was the fact that all the "key people" were on vacation.. WTF?

Prince Pissypants' people go to great lengths to tell us that he's "always on the job", and still the media is cutting him slack..:grr:

Perhaps he should not TAKE "vacation" for a MONTH right smack in the middle of hurricane season..:grr:

2. So those 'key people' on vacation were, what, stuck in the mud
when they heard about Katrina? Just couldn't get on a plane and fly out to NOLA to help out? Blitzer is a Bushwhore, why anyone watches him is beyond me.

3. Bushies don't do their job
They are paid to run this country properly and they're skills are bad, plus they are too lazy at times.

5. So does that mean the best time to attack the US
is during the month of August?

So much for national security.

8. Did he really say that? Please tell me he didn't.
Let's just say, for argument's sake, that Wolfie is right, and some "key people" in the executive branch were on vacation during Katrina.

1. Don't the Bushies always brag about the "Western White House" and say that Bushie is always on the job, even at Crawford.

2. If someone important was on vacation, maybe they should have cut their vacation short and brought their ass back to Washington. That's why they get paid the big bucks.

10. Hurricanes & tornadoes are the ONLY disasters that can be
predictably planned for.. We KNOW when and where they are likely to occur, so there is NEVER a good excuse for being caught flatfooted..

So did his staff. They don't care, and they're incompetent.
