Only click if you're truly interested. Anything else is dishonest, and may actually hurt DU's revenue if fraudulent clicking is detected.

3. I click on the right-wing ads.

Google picks up key words in our posts like "newsmax".

Reflects this in the ads. I click on them to support DU and cost right-wing advertisers money.

I clicked on one earlier and it is everything I come to DU to find:

Ironweed films:

DVDs by mail. Each month they package a topic group of documentaries on DVD and send it out. $14.95. Pretty good set of progressive issues each month. This month is sex education is schools. They've had an I/P set of films, illegal alien set, elections, and so forth. Each month there is a petition that addresses the issues contained. Can't vouch for the content of all, but it seems like good stuff. Anyone have any experience? This is something I can use for work, so double bonus. I recall reading about Ironwood at some past point, but this was a nice reminder. This is the picture that accompanied their write up for the accompanying petition on Sex Ed.

13. I did click on one that interested me.

It was for an outfit called (if I remember correctly) "Advocacy Inc." They offer services for political campaigning, grassroots efforts, etc. They offer voter lists, something called "phone bank in a box", and other similar things. I clicked because the ad interested me and I've actually bookmarked it as something that may be useful at some point. That is the kind of ad I like seeing on here.
