"Can you believe that guy?"
My daughter recently asked a co-worker when she happened to mention something Bush had said that was stupid, etc. Here's the woman's answer: "What's the problem?" This co-worker has plenty of money, no financial worries-----in other words, the good life. She and her family are happy as can be and she thinks Republicans are wonderful. I guess she fails to read the paper, watch the news or notice how many millions are suffering under Republican rule. Depressing!

2. I've been knocking heads on another mb...
It's a small board and I'm the only dem. We decided to get into politics.

I just can't even believe how stupid they are. I've been getting SO mad, I finally told them I'm outta there (today). I had to take an extra aspirin last night because I thought I'd have a heart attack in the middle of the night!

Gross misrepentations of the facts. No compassion for those worse off than they are. Unbelievable. Some people you just can't change!

3. I know a lot of those people.
--They hate World History
--They don't read anything Oprah doesn't tell them to.
--They are happy with their life and really don't care to know about anything that is unpleasant or outside of the U.S. or even better their own neighborhood.

Sometimes it occurs to you that there are a lot of people out there that don't WANT to change their opinions and get really upset if you provide them with any evidence to the contrary. To them, it's America's place to be on top and in charge, and anyone who disagrees we should just 'nuke' into submission.

4. I agree with you.....I've decided they are just plain selfish!
It's beyond comprehension to me that anyone thinks the country is doing well and can't see the huge problems the majority have to face.
