1. And reject balanced budget

The House passed a monstrosity of a budget, along party lines, in the wee hours of the morning. Previously, Republicans voted down a Democratic proposal that would have balanced the budget by 2012 by repealing many of the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans. In turn, Republicans chose to raise the debt ceiling by $653 billion to $9.6 trillion while adding the burden of this budget to the least among us.
