their own domain not someone elses to sell their services.. Even if there is a dispute on the server, the domain name should belong to crooks and liars and cannot be used for the server... Usually a 404 page is installed...

An A record lookup at DNSStuff.com shows those authoritative servers coughing up an IP address.


That IP shows up in the trace from another company's route server. The IP belongs to Cogent, and that's where the trace ends up:

I think that the hosting company has screwed up the site. It may be that they are a brand-new host, and the domain owners simply haven't uploaded the site to them.

One of the authoritative servers, in fact, is also acting as the "www" host.

last night. Below is the explanation.

After some bad storms hit Florida recently, the main server we were
hosting C&L from got water damage. (Our main servers are in NYC and LA
but
we had set up a separate server in Florida for C&L due to their heavy
traffic needs.) So since Monday, C&L had been running off of back up
servers. We wanted to make one of the backups more like a permanent
server
until we could get the Florida server up and running again. However,
the
virtualhost entry had a typo, which means that all of the traffic to
that
IP was not being handled by the crooksandliars virtualhost and instead
went to the default website - ziaspace.com. The typo was entirely our
fault and we want to formally apologize to all Crooks and Liars viewers
that arrived at our website.

Again, our sincerest apologies, and if you are still seeing
ziaspace.com,
you simply need to clear the cache in your browser and reload.
