about this "nobody-without-a-uterus" thing. In a day when not enough men are involved in the reproductive consequences of their actions, basing a position on the exclusion of men from the reproductive consequences of their actions doesn't make sense. Don't worry--I see where you're coming from, and I dislike the sanctimonious windbags who have no sympathy or understanding about how important choice is to a woman. But I'd like to be able to advocate on behalf of that choice, to suggest, when you get right down to it, what a woman should be able to do with her body. Even if I have a different body type. When it comes time to get more federal funding for prostate cancer passed instead of tax cuts, I'll be expecting women to back me up, too.
I don't think excluding half the population from a debate on ethics and morals is how Democracy works--even if I don't like what many from that half of the population has to say about it. And many women are pro-life. I don't particularly think they're entitled to a privileged opinion on the matter because of it, but the whole "must-have-uterus" thing gives them one.
