Edited on Mon May-15-06 06:28 AM by Dinger
She just said it on CNN. Why in the fuck did they have that sour-faced bitch work on John Kerry's 2004 campaign? Gee, wonder if she had any reports for her REAL hero?:tinfoil hat:

You may as well give up on that. You will learn that do to your geographical misfortune to live in the State that * selected to "be from" you will the target of various slurs and insults. People think it is quite witty to denigrate us because of * as we obviously bear complete and total responsibility for this clown.

4. Sorry. That was not directed at the many COOL People In Texas, Like You
Really, I meant no offense. I get carried away at the Texas RWers, and I was wrong to sterotype. That'll be the last time I did that. Peace.

2. Why did Kerry allow it?
Everyone knows Candy is a total Bushbot. One of the handpicked few that got to travel with the pResident on 9-11. But then again Kerry hired Donna Brazile, so go figure?

5. Handpicked?
Edited on Mon May-15-06 07:11 AM by fedupinBushcountry
She was with CNN, the only one who picked her was CNN, like ABC, NBC, etc. didn't have anyone traveling with him. Geez. Brazile was Gore's campaign manager. If you want to complain and whine at least get your facts straight.

8. Handpicked to fly on AF 1 on 9-11
not handpicked by Kerry to follow the campaign.

Yes, CNN sent her but Kerry could have told CNN to go stuff it and try again.

In regards, to Brazile, my bad.

9. My bad on the handpicked
Kerry had no choice that is who CNN assigned to the campaign,if he had said stuff it , it would of been even less favorable coverage then it was.

10. Kerry had no choice. I was there, btw.
I worked in the Kerry DC HQ, and Candy C. tried her damnedest
to schmooze the baby interns and volunteers when she dropped by.

No one, and I mean no one, took her bait... or any other media whore's,
for that matter.

Everyone working at HQ had been thoroughly vetted and trained to
deal with (actually, NOT to deal with) the press.

It got much easier to monitor Candy et al when the campaign
moved into a secure building.

16. I bet Bush wouldn't have allowed it
to have a hard core Dem covering his campaign, no matter who they worked for.

18. bushco are allowed to lie to our face on tv. dems cant tell the truth
without spin and attack let alone exaggerate a story and lying,..... well hell, we get impeached.

the standards are different. we hvae pure evidence this to be true. if it is not part of your concept then you dont wnat to understand for agenda purpose. it is not a level playing field. and this is what our cnadidates have to work with. they have gotten better last year and half if you now listen to dems but especially kerry and dean on tv.

6. are you saying that because she covered the bush gov. campaign
she shouldn't have covered the Kerry campaign? I don't think she worked "for" bush when he ran for governor. She was already working for cnn back then.

7. She didn't work on Kerry's campaign. She worked for CNN covering
the Kerry campaign. She did a rotten job too. Now I know why. It was obvious she wasn't fair to Kerry. I have disliked her ever since. I also do not think Brazille worked on Kerry's campaign either.I know for a fact though, She did work on Gore's.

11. she covered bush in the 2000 presidential campaign, did she also
cover bush in the Texas governor's campaign against Richards?

I remember her in 2000 when she angry told CNN to put her back on to break the news that Gore revoked his concession -- when she didn't realize she was on live -- her face and demeanor in that 10 seconds spoke absolute volumes. She is one tough cookie, and was angry about the story.

12. For what it's worth, I prefer other reporters' work to Crowley's, but
I saw her for about 35-40 minutes in Tampa at a Kerry rally a few days before the 2004 election, and she was working the crowd as an on-location reporter ought to work it, asking questions of several people, both officials running the event and folks who just came to hear Kerry speak.

I sense in other reports she's filed a tilt toward the GOP, but it's just a tilt and not a full-body plunge like the FOX commentators.

She was exceedingly gracious to one member of my party also, directing the attention to her instead of to herself as "news celebrity."

I'd rather listen to Daniel Schorr's take on events, but gotta say, Crowley seemed to be the composite pro, at least that night in Tampa.

13. I remember reading an item during the 2000 campaign
where CNN was "concerned" that Crowley had "bonded" with the Bush campaign. Apparently, nothing was done about it, though.

After the election, the Palm Beach Post reported on Crowley's speaking engagements in Florida where she discussed the recount and sided with Bush.

14. she was at her worst in the 2000 campaign...
She covered both Bush and Gore, and whenever she travelled with Bush she'd whisper like she was in a cathedral, her face beaming and full o'love.

When she travelled with Gore, she was snarky, snarling, sarcastic and nasty. The contrast was so obvious and sickening.

stone that said the 3 of them didn't like covering the Kerry campaign because he was---"Boring". I wrote to the WP ombudsman and actually called them as well--i got no response, surprise!
