"Karl Rove Is Innocent And Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald ...
has been arrested for treason" will be the subject of Monday night's speech by shrub. Additionally, shrub can be expected to announce that the Constitution needs to be suspended during the time of national crisis. DU will also be shutdown and members will be disappeared to Gitmo.

Any bets?

Bush Lied. People Died. Media Cheered.

1. I wonder how long George has known that indictments were coming.
The Monday night speech is probably nothing more than an attempt to distract the country.

4. Big Bill Caused Pearl Harbor, Right?
One wonders when they'll run out of energy trying to pin stuff on Big Bill. They hate his guts 'cause he (and his WIFE!) were smarter than they were.

A relative used to work in a school district office outside Houston. Big Bill was Prez. There was a car accident outside. At the next desk, her co-worker said, "That accident happened 'cause of Bill Clinton."

The jokes write themselves, eh?

lemon chicken meal showed to us by this clown:

"REP. DUNCAN HUNTER (R), CALIFORNIA: This is the oven-fried chicken entree. It has broccoli, it has peas and mushrooms, it has rice, it has pita bread, and it has two types of fruit. This is what Osama bin Laden's bodyguards will eat several times a cycle, several times a week. This is lemon chicken, rice, broccoli, carrots, bread and two types of fruit."

14. Hey, anybody wanna trade -- my chicken for some of their stuff?
I'm not too fond of chicken. I like all the other stuff. Will trading be allowed? We're not going to have to use "sporks," are we? I hate sporks. Will there be an opportunity to brush and floss after meals? I'm fine with the lower bunk, since I have a tendency to roll out of bed -- so long as the person in the upper doesn't have an incontinence problem. Speaking of beds and sleeping arrangements, should I bring my own pilly? Can I have a pet? I tend to keep unconventional sleep hours -- will this be a problem? What cable channels are available? What address should I use for my mail forwarding? Will there be a "communial" printer or should I bring my own? Orange is not my best color -- are there any other colors available? I'm not a golfer, so can I substitute another sport in the intramural teams? Is dating allowed?

I wish these guys would put out a GitmoGuide (c) so I'd know how to prepare.

:pals: It'll be just like attending summer camp together. And Rummy Duncan Hunter sez the food is great.

5. We are in a state of national crisis:
Our country is figureheaded by a fundamentalist chimpanzee, and really run by an unholy priest and a man with a steam-powered heart (and yes, the engine is oil-combustion).

Doesn't that sound like a crisis to you?
