"You see ****, the liberals want and need the war on terror to go badly for a number of different reasons. One, they don’t want it treated as a war. They like treating it as a crime. That way you can have trials, investigations, and mostly lots and lots of press coverage.

Two, if the war on terror goes badly, they get power. They will do anything to get their power back and I believe the loss of major US city would be acceptable to about half of them. Three, they love the ability to go to the UN as a victimized citizen of the world. In their minds eye, if you can show you are a victim of some kind, you are empowered.

Fourth, and this may be stretch, but I think that they secretly hate the US so badly that any enemy of our country is their friend. The Marxist college professors such as Ward Churchill would fall into this category as well as some politicians like Cynthia McKinney.

Anything our government does to fight terrorism will be cast in a bad light by this crew and the sad thing is, they really think we care."

7. There is a list of 60 countries

where Al Quieda has a presence. Iraq wasn't one of the them. Maybe the radical righties would like to let us know in what order we will be bombing these countries?

I would also hazard a guess that when you bomb a country that had nothing to do with terrorists it might not leave you the resources or credibility to go after the real bad guys.

If the "war on terror goes badly" there's FUCKING NOBODY TO BLAME but the neocon Republicans that currently have power in all three branches of our federal government.

Thus, it doesn't matter what the Democrats want or hope for. The Republicans have all the power and all the say.
