Stephen Colbert's Press Corps speech = Terry Gilliam's "Brazil".
Both had moments of great humor, but an underlying sadness, darkness, and TRUTH to them.

Some would stand up and leave. Some would stick it out, and still say they didn't get it, he went to far, etc..

The comedy really only spoke to those that understood the tragedy at the base.


Can you tell I watched Brazil today? I haven't seen it in some 15 years.
