What's wrong with this picture? The raid of Dusty Foggo's home.
Almost everything is not what it seems with this Administration. Black is white and up is down, the truth is a lie and the lie is the truth.

So what is really behind the FBI raid of Dusty Foggo's home? As somebody posted, is the FBI simply "cleaning house"?

No one has given any substantial reasoning as to why they would raid and ransack Mr. Foggo's home that I have heard.

I'm not saying its justified or unjustified. However, by the lack of information being given and the censorship being utilized, that would seem to lean it more to the "unjustified" category, would it not?

1. Dusty had something on someone
and they thought he might go public. Sure looks that way, anyway.

Initiate character assassination.

If he had something on someone, he wouldn't have left it in his house.

3. Do they suspect that it was bugged? Are they looking for evidence
that he may have been a leak source? Do they want his gay porn collection?

4. It was purely theater
Foggo most likely knew they were coming. Showing this raid on TV and in newspapers created THE APPEARANCE that BushCo's FBI is serious about investigating crimes committed by BushCo. I suspect this all was pre-planned. That includes the signicant press coverage.

7. Well, they gave the bastard plenty of time to clean up
If he didn't unload his hard drives, burn his files or do whatever he needed to do between the time his name hit the papers and they waltzed into his house, well, he's a dumbfuck. But, hey, a lot of people associated with the BushCo crime family ARE dumbfucks!

Here's an early heads-up ole Dusty got, back in DEC 05 http://www.govexec.com/story_page.cfm?articleid=32916&dcn=todaysnews

The FBI and the CIA have always had an adversarial relationship, and that's on a good day. It's not just the FBI that was in on the raid, either: Federal agents with sealed search warrants showed up at Foggo's office at CIA headquarters in McLean, Virginia, and at his nearby home.

Live news footage showed plainclothes agents and a white Chevrolet van outside a modest split-level brick house in a quiet Virginia suburb.

The CIA said the searches were part of a joint investigation by the FBI and the CIA inspector general's office. Also investigating are the Internal Revenue Service, the Defense Criminal Investigative Service and the U.S. attorney's office in San Diego, officials said.

IRS?? DCIS (that's the FRANKFURT GE connection, there)??? San Diego US Attorney?? This guy has some SERIOUS trouble....

They're gonna squeeze this guy like an overripe lemon, and round up anyone and everyone that enjoyed poker, cigars, limos, hookers....he's screwed. It's CANARY time for Dusty!

9. Its the Rep. Cunningham bribery scandal.
You are aware that Foggo is implicated in the "Duke" Cunningham/Wilkes bribery scandal, right? How is that not "substantial reasoning"?

They are probably looking for expensive items (bought with cash) or piles of cash, that could be evidence of bribes.
