3. This a perfect example
of why the democrats are always behind the eight ball! _You_ got it right, ComerPerro! Folks! It IS the "Contract ON America" Repeat after me...Contract ON America! Contract ON America!
Never ever ever say that other one, the one with the "w" word in the middle. It is and always will be the Contract ON America.

But see! the folks at DCCC didn't get it (too honest, ugh) They missed a perfect oportunity to spin this our way for a change.

Same with the...

Estate Tax
Dirty Skies Initiative
Rape the Forests Initiative...

never ever say the other one.

4. I wish I could claim that I coined that phrase. ... ...Actually, fuck it
if you want, credit me.

I DID coin that phrase...

...yeah, that's the ticket.

6. What is the big deal with the Contract?
It was a good marketing tool for sure, but the stuff in it is pretty tame.

If I remember it right it is to promise to have term limits on committee chairmen, and not allow prozy votes for committees and vote on a balanced budget amendment and line item veto.

That kinds of administrative stuff.

Why the vitriol over stuff like that?
