2. That's sunlight reflecting off a jet contrail

It looks like fire, but it's really sunlight reflecting off the ice crystals. The jet must be flying so high that the curvature of the earth has not yet blocked the sunlight. If that timestamp is correct, then the sun should already be below the horizon but not if you're at 30,000 feet.
