Bush says authorised intelligence activities lawful

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush on Thursday said intelligence activities he has authorised are lawful and the government does not listen to domestic phone calls without court approval.

"The privacy of ordinary Americans is fiercely protected in all our activities. We're not mining or trolling through the personal lives of millions of innocent Americans," Bush said.

1. Nailed it!
I saw him this morning and he had the shifty eyes and partial smirk that he had when he gave his speech about Invading Iraq talking about "Aluminum Tubes" and there were glimpses of the "deer in headlights" that he had when he was reading "My Pet Goat" when we were attacked.

If you missed his "announcment today" look for snips because anyone who has seen his speeches where he has lied will recognize the "Look."

His facial expressions were totally inappropriate to what was coming out of his mouth.

He's NIXON... Thanks for posting this!

2. Nixon wasn't a crook, either
Reagan couldn't remember the Iran-Contra crimes, and Clinton never got a blow job from Lewinsky, either :sarcasm:

... That is what Karl will say when Chimp is caught lying again, with today's explanation... He'll then proceed to tell us what he meant by "ordinary" Murkins...
