6. Have they adapted "My Pet Goat" as an animated series?
If so, that would be the hands-down winner.

Except that was labeled a 'reality tv' program, which made it hard for him to feel comfortable tuning in, despite the allure of the show's title and premise. He thought watching a reality TV program might be considered a betrayal by his faith-based core constituents.

10. None of these shows....
Barney is too sophisticated for him.

Sesame Street has too many big words. Besides Grover scares him.

Sponge Bob is totally cool. So, he can't watch that show.

The Simpsons once make a joke about his mommy, so he swore off that show.

Junior thinks Sex in the City is an urban abstinence program, so he's unaware that he can tune in.

Power Rangers reminds him of his AWOL days. So, that's a no go.

He doesn't get the jokes in I Love Lucy. So, no.

It's Little Bear. Gotta be Little Bear. Isn't that his nickname for Rove...something about Rove having a really hairy back?

Little Bear it is!

17. Gunsmoke. Leo Strauss, father of the neocons, said that
Gunsmoke & Perry Mason were the best TV shows.

Gunsmoke because it is easy to tell the good guy from the bad guy and becaus at the end of the every show the guy in the white hat kills the guy in the black hat.

Perry Mason because he always looks like he is working for honest clients who deserve to 'get off' and because he always looks like he, himself, is an ethical lawyer. In fact, his clients might be guilty as heck and he might be cheating them.

18. You left out Babylon 5...
Edited on Thu May-11-06 01:42 PM by calipendence
According to Karl Rove, he told Bruce Boxleitner that it was both Bush's and Rove's favorite show. I guess they both aspired to using President Clark (not Wesley Clarke!) and Operation Nightwatch as their model of government.
