NSA and political blackmail

If people don't think they are using this data for other purposes, like say...political blackmail...well, then they aren't thinking.

Question is: Will this very real possibility be covered in the mainstream press?

NSA has massive database of Americans' phone calls

The National Security Agency has been secretly collecting the phone call records of tens of millions of Americans, using data provided by AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth, people with direct knowledge of the arrangement told USA TODAY.

The NSA program reaches into homes and businesses across the nation by amassing information about the calls of ordinary Americans — most of whom aren't suspected of any crime. This program does not involve the NSA listening to or recording conversations. But the spy agency is using the data to analyze calling patterns in an effort to detect terrorist activity, sources said in separate interviews.

that they are not listening to or recording conversations? They've lied and covered up everything else about this program. Why won't they let Justice investigate? Because what they are doing is reprehensible.

and there won't be real fair elections in November either. The rebubliCons simply cannot afford to lose power now. They will outright takeover soon, I believe. I am seriously freaked out that something very bad is soon to come down upon us.
