2008 election is set. It's Jeb Bush vs Hillary Clinton
Jeb's running mate will be John McCain. Hillary's running mate will be Joe Lieberman. The main topics of the three scheduled debates will be - -

1 - Gay Marriage

2 - Abortion

3 - Contraception

4 - TV rights for the 2012 Super Bowl

5 - New format for American Idol

6 - Steroid use by US Olympic Curling team

The debates will be sponsored by ExxonMobile, GE, Halliburton, BP, and The Peoples Republic Of China. Now Harvey and I will have another beer...or two....or three.

5. That could be one of those tough questions during the debates
Edited on Thu May-11-06 02:49 AM by Elwood P Dowd
"Senator Clinton, Is it true you blew dinner after you discovered that your philandering, lying, scumbag husband, which you refuse to divorce for financial reasons, was blown by an innocent child intern in the Oval Office?"

Senator Clinton; "I resent that remark Mr Hannity. I take a Pepcid before every meal and you know that."

:sarcasm:

6. You left out two more useless topics: Gun control and flag burning
These are worthy of a whole night of spirited debate.

10. Read My Lips - No New Texans...

America has had a belly-full of the Bush clan's disconnect with working reality.

12. Well, in all seriousness, isn't that why Bush floated Jeb's name today?
Edited on Thu May-11-06 04:36 AM by VolcanoJen
It's all part of the sideshow, the distraction.

Get Jeb's name out there, and the media will lap it up like kittens at the milk bowl. Set up a grand standoff, Bush vs. Clinton.

Karl's working overtime, since he'll be unemployed soon. First, he put out the "Democrats want investigations and impeachment" distraction. Media ate it with a spoon. Now, Jeb vs. Hillary. As if.

It's so much bullshit, so transparent. I was actually pleased when Trent Lott (!!) today shot down the idea as the ridiculous stunt it is. Trent can smell Rove a mile away, and it sounds like he's running in the opposite direction, as many Republicans will do in preparation for midterms.
