Anyone Else Sick of Businesses Using Our Flag
for their own personal profit? I too once believed that what was good for business will somehow benefit America as a whole, but not with these huge tax cuts and businesses outsourcing jobs while demanding we bail them out of bankruptcy. I say FUCK em!

Especially gas stations... anyone see the irony in Exxon flying the American flag? What they should fly is the American flag with text saying: for sale right smack dab in the middle.

1. Profits seem to be our only business
I am sure Bush would sell Barbara if the price was right. And some CEO would figure out how to do it even better and bigger profits with a tax brake along the side.

2. Freedom Gas
Yes, in Springfield, IL there is actually a gas station called, "Freedom Gas" (this may be a chain, I'm not sure). Their logo is a big red, white and blue banner. I avoid them like the plague when I am in that area, just out of my cynical aversion to that sort of fake-patriotism.

Now if their sign said, "Free Gas" - that would be a different story. ;-)

3. Freedom Gas
It's a chain, I don't know how big it is. I live in Champaign-Urbana, and they have at least three stations here.

4. What's even more offensive
Is the Dictator-Tot and his misbegotten and ever-dwindling cheering-section of inbred, pig-ignorant, pseudo-patriotic America-haters using our flag as the banner under which they're doing their goddamndest to destroy the nation.

But you raise a very good point.

7. I Have Zero Issue With It. Anyone Can Fly The Flag If They Wan't.
Not my place to tell them otherwise.
